Research Point: Before you attempt the next exercise go on the internet and research the basics of linear perspective

 

I have looked at perspective during Drawing1.  Looking online I was reminded that there are different types of perspective.  Linear can be one point, where the view goes back into the picture as below, illustrated by this picture from http://www.studentartguide.com/articles/one-point-perspective-drawing

  • The horizon line is also the viewers eye line
  • The vanishing point is the point on the horizon where objects would disappear because of distance.  The lines of perspective reach the horizon line at the vanishing point
